Susana Mijares Peña

Susana Mijares Pena is the founder of The Six Law Group. Susana’s professional background in law is extensive and varied.
Qualified to practice law in Canada and Venezuela, Susana completed her Juris Doctor Law degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, and completed her Master of Laws with specialization in International Business at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. Additionally, Susana has also earned her Civil Law degree at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela.
At The Six Law Group, Susana focuses on commercial and real estate law. Given her background and qualifications, Susana frequently advises Canadian and international clients on various legal matters, such as Latin American clients and their business in Canada. Susana also counsels small and medium-sized enterprises, private lenders and individual clients with their day-to-day matters and new ventures.
Susana’s Canadian legal career began at a full-service boutique firm in downtown Toronto where she was the head of the Real Estate group and lead counsel on several international transactions between Latin America and Canada.
Prior to becoming a lawyer in Canada, Susana practiced law at a full-service law firm in Caracas, Venezuela, where she was part of the Litigation and Employment group.
In addition to her passion for the law which she shares with her family as a fourth-generation lawyers, Susana loves fitness and sports. In her free time, you may find Susana in a hot pilates room, arguing about the complexities of life, or just dancing with her friends and family.
Susana is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Khrystyna Galychyn

Khrystyna is a lawyer at The Six Law Group and is involved in all legal areas of the firm, including real estate and related litigation, as well as corporate law. She is passionate about effectively advocating for her clients and maintaining long-lasting relationships.
Khrystyna completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto, and after working at the University of Toronto for two years, she decided to pursue a career in law. She moved to London, U.K., and obtained her LLB from the City University London.
After returning to Toronto, Khrystyna worked at two medium-sized downtown law firms, focusing mostly on labour and employment litigation matters.
In her free time, Khrystyna enjoys keeping active, exploring nature, and thinking about how to make a positive impact in the world.
Emily Peña

Emily is passionate about the administration and management of businesses. As such, she holds a degree in Business Administration from University Jose Antonio Paez in Valencia, Venezuela. Currently, she works as an Office Manager at The Six Law Group.
Throughout her career, Emily has developed strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment for providing excellent customer service. Emily previously worked in the health sector as a business manager. She takes great pride in treating people with kindness and respect. Whether assisting clients with their legal needs or going the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction, Emily finds fulfillment in making a positive impact on their lives.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring new places. She is an avid reader and a strong advocate for lifelong learning. Emily is excited about the future and the potential it holds for her and her family.
Laura Rayas

Laura has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Education. Currently, she is thrilled to serve as a Clerk at The Six Law Group.
Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in both the corporate and education sectors, allowing her to bring a unique and compassionate perspective to her work. Laura has worked in Mexico, California, Dubai and now Toronto, which has certainly given her a unique perspective when dealing with different work enviroments, cultures, and clients’ needs.
Laura’s role as a clerk has certainly further broadened her professional horizons. It has provided her with firsthand exposure to the Canadian legal system, where she has refined her attention to detail.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Laura is a dedicated individual who believes in continuous personal and intellectual growth. Laura actively seeks out opportunities to embrace challenges that pushes her beyond her comfort zone. Laura is excited to be a part of The Six Law Group team, collaborating with colleagues, serving our clients with utmost dedication, and making a positive impact overall to everybody dealing with the firm.

Diana Sevilla

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Diana will be assisting our clients with their various immigration needs.
Diana holds an Economics Degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, as well as a specialization in Insurance matters from the Instituto de Banca y Seguros. Diana is also certified as a Post-Secondary Education Expert in Canada by Trainhub.
She started her career in the immigration field as a passion project; thanks to her close work with clients, experienced lawyers and other professionals, she has now completed thousands of successful immigration applications.
Diana’s experience will help people achieve their personal goals by coming to study, work and explore all that Canada has to offer for a brighter future.
